Default Bushpig hunt with KMG Hunting Safaris

Here is a video through the viewfinder from our last hunter from Norway who hunted a Bushpig with us this past week. Sorry for the poor video quality. The image is a lot better through the scope. I think it is simply a resolution setting on the DVR that needs to be tweaked.
After around 2 months of preparation, we got into the blind and had just settled in. 10 minutes later, the pigs showed up. We gave the pigs some time to settle in. It was challenging picking out the boar from 70yds, but the correct identification can clearly be seen as soon as the target pig turns his head showing off his warts. As soon as the hunter identified the boar, the crosshairs drop executing a perfect quartering towards lung shot. Notice how we hover the crosshairs over the pig, not to shine the infra red beam directly into its eye, until we are ready to take the shot. Flex made short work of finding the boar dead in the thorny thickets about 60yds away.

    Thanks for sharing the video.
    Congrats to the hunter.

A little different method of spot lighting the pigs.

interesting marius, so the pigs can pick up on the small red spot on the infared projector lens, or the actual beam?

I cant remember exactly where I read it, but the article said that although infra red is invisible, should it cross the eye, the animal will still pick up that "flash" of the light coming past which will undoubtly scare any bushpig. I dont think that they can see the beam but merely the red spot "flashing" should it hit the eye. At 70yds out, its a very dim and small red light in the distance which should not have any affect on any animal.
