What rifles and what calibers have you taken with you. Do I see a Ruger M77? I see Big Blue on your optics.

    By gosh . . . that DOES look like a RUGER M77 . . . could it be a rare "tang-safety" model?!

Is the "tang-safety" rare on the M77? Does it date me if I said I have two of them?

Those early 77's are one of my favorite rifles, though I dont have have one at present. Took one in .338 mag to RSA in '09. The kudu in my avatar pic fell to it. Sort of wish I hadnt sold it but...well you know.

The M77s seem to be able to stand a lot of abuse. A real working rifle. My 77s were both accurate out of the box and are still more accurate than their owner.

You got to love the M77,s, I have 5 at the moment sold several the last couple of years. I took my old M77 in .338 WM to Namibia last year and she went 12 critters for 12 shots including eland. I ain't bragging I'm just saying she and I have really bonded since I bought her in 85.

Apologies for the interlude, something is getting in the way of being on a computer.
HUNTING MY BUTT OFF and have a great time at it.

    Damn, Leopards are hard work!

Breakfast is ready and I am being called to the table. Can't be late.
Up in the dark, to bed late.

Wish I could show you some pictures, but I am on the net for a few minutes. The sun is coming up again and it is time to start hunting.

When I get a moment I'll try to get some pictures in here.

One word, STUNNING! Way to much fun.

First off if I encounter anyone complaining about an African Outfitter that can not get back to them I may come visit you personally. If you know what I mean.
I have just spent 1.5 hours working on getting these pictures up and ready. What a chore. I have a brand new appreciation for anyone attempting to be on the web from Africa.

    My arrival in Namibia.

An Oryx with a Waterburg back drop. Does it get any better than that?

    My introduction to Leopard hunting

By the way that is not a .223 cartridge nor a .270 It is a .300 WM

A visitor to the bait. I missed him by 20 minutes.

    The proof ....

    AND THE TROPHY PICTURE:

Still working on the other guy.
