Motsomi Safaris
Our second safari with Motsomi was just as adventurous as our first. This trip Pieter was my PH. Pieter is a great mentor, guide and friend with lots of patience. Many thanks for helping me complete my spiral slam with my bow. I'm taking 6 more great trophies home. The night hunt for Civet Cat was great but Cape Buffalo standing 5 yards sure does get the adrenaline running. As Pieter said Africa is not for sissies.
While I hunted Colt and my wife took it easy around lodge a few days. The rest of the time Ria took them on day trips. They went to Mapungubwe Nature Park. They saw many different animals. Another day they went to see a huge Baobab tree that is well over 2000 years old and visited the White Lions that included a safari lunch on Limpopo River. A half a day was learning about crocodiles on a crocodile farm. Our next 3 days will be driving through Kruger Park with Ria before heading back to Pa.
Zach is a great cook, meat cooked like we like it and we were never hungry.
