Red River Hog ~ Central African Republic

Our head tracker suggested we wait in the middle of a narrow, yet long and partly open field situated between a small river an the forrest. Here where we had continuously seen fresh sign of the actual hogs foraging the fertile soils. A chant of whistles, local songs and clapping of hands further downstream drove a sounder of 6 hogs past our setup point. This beautiful boar was shot just 20yards from us.
