Here's a descent maned lion from April 2009. Picture taken 3 kilometers from CAWA Ngoy camp.

This lion was called in, the traditional way to hunt lion in CAR. We got the first answer by 6:30 and then he quickly approached us, by 7:10 we had him on us. Totally unafraid... this lion had never seen humans before.

He had two females with him and they were both in heat so this is the reason I think he is so slim.

He is a little bit young to be shot, but in another two years he will be a Beauty.
