This past Spring while walking to one of my favorite fishing ponds I ran across this alligator, apparently by the bruises and bites on his ass and legs he lost a fight with a larger Bull and did not want to give way on the trail to the pond.
All I had on me was my fishing rod and my always trusty knife, and I was not about to get in a knife fight with a pissed off alligator! I found the nearest log I could handle and the fight was on, after about ten minutes of pushing and shoving he finally gave way and eased back into the water, I have'nt seen him since.
