trophy bull
this is only trophy bison we ever took.1698 lbs field dressed.used my custom scope sighted ruger hawkeye in 44 mag and took 6 shots to put him down.all shots behind the shoulder in the kill zone,but he wouldnt go down.vowed to never take another big bull like this and to only take head shots.my wife and i have taken 7 meat bulls since then and all shots have been one shot kills in the head.
