Last Comment Posted	Hunting Camel in Australia Yes the meat is edible. It is very similar to beef with a slight 'gamey' flavour. To look at a camel steak you would need to be a very good cook to tell the difference with beef. We don't take much meat out. They are feral introduced pests and considered vermin. We also have to have our own refridgeration.
