    Default Meat hunt for Moose

    Anyone know of any good outfitters that offer a meat hunt. I know I use to see them but not so many lately. I would rather eat a young moose than look at one on the wall.

    I have no doubt that a last minute spot for a young bull would be attractive to an outfitter.
    I can't imagine they get too many requests for it though.

    There are some in BC that offer late season meat bull hunts. I just googled "BC meat bull moose hunt" and several popped up, I cant speak to reliability but the BC guide outfitters association should be able to help. I doubt you would find anything here in Alberta with the regimented tag system but it would be worth a try.
