    I know Newfoundland is the only place these are currently hunted. I am looking for anyone who has hunted recently and could provide a reference or an outfitter that they had a good experience with.

    Thank you for the info. This is not one that has stood out doing my own research, but I have not received any personal recommendations yet. When are you thinking about going?

    I was planning this for late Sept early Oct but I was just informed that I will be out of state for my job and will not be able to get away. So its put off till next year as I want to do a combo hunt and take a big Black Bear on the same trip. Bob
