A stud indeed Tom. That is one impressive animal.
When I am not hunting, I am thinking about hunting....I think I'll go hunting.

AND he is free range in SW Texas. This is no "guaranteed" hunt but he and a few of his buddies are this big. I can post the details if someone is interested but basically the hunt on 10,000 free range acres is $3,500.

Tom, this is a hunt that I've been looking at doing, trying to combine it with our annual visit to the States during the convention period.
I went ahead and organised something different for this coming year but would certainly be interested for next year.
I will send you a p.m.
Cheers, thanks for posting this.
Paul.

Not trying to rain on the parade, please know, and that is a stud of a ram. However, hunting aoudad with feeders present doesn't do this animal justice. A true free range, wild, spot and stalk, no feeder or food plot hunt is a fantastic experience. I've been able to partake on cull hunts out in W TX for over 30 years and have probably killed 100 of the beasts myself, and personally guided other hunters on another 50 or so. It can be a world class spot and stalk hunt if done correctly (not that this isn't).

as Tom mentioned it is a stud and im sure used just for breeding , you can see by the skin quality and condition its a fed animal, i too would never hunt such an animal but in the opening post nobody said its for hunting in the first place... thanks Tom for posting these pics of such a beautiful specimen.
regards Mike

Guys, i cant say it enough...he is free ranging...no fences. This particular aoudad has only been seen on trailcam pics. I could send you after him but who knows if you would ever see him. 10,000 acres of free range is a pretty big area to find one specific ram. I would say your probability of taking a 30" plus ram on this open range ranch are around 50%.

My point was that he's in the broad daylight under a feeder. That' doesn't do this great animal justice IMO.
