Driven Boar and Elk Hunt in Berlarus-november 2010
Greetings Friends!
Finally I found time to tell you about hunting which I organized and took part.
I suggest you to look at the photo report of the several days of hunting in Belarus.
This hunting has been organized by me for my familiar hunters from Germany.
Even though weather couldn't please us and air temperature was above +10,it hasn't ruined us the mood. The hunter who took the first time part in driven hunt has especially get success and has only one year of the experience. He shot two elks and one red deer.

Looks like you had a great hunt. I have only done a driven hunt for birds, it must be exciting for big game. I was looking for the elk pics, then I remembered you guys call moose -elk over there. What kind of truck is that in your last photo?

That looks like a very interesting hunt. Similar to pushing bush here in Canada for deer, minus the dogs, but we don't have a chance of driving elk or moose in our bush.

Igor your right that we don't have much for wild boars. But we do have the odd group running around that have escaped from farms and there are a couple places that are overrun by them. In '08 I shot one of the "escapees" and after it was skinned, gutted, and 2" of fat removed it still weighed 340lbs.

I can say, that from USA we have not many hunters.
There are many hunters from Germany, Austria, France hunting there.
I found the hunting report from US-hunters:

FROM HUNTING REPORT:
Hunting European Moose In Belarus North American Style
Published: November - 2008
If you're interested in hunting European moose but don't care for the traditional driven hunts used in that part of the world, then this hunt in Belarus may be for you.
Belarus is slightly smaller than the State of Kansas and is sandwiched between Russia and Poland. It attained its independence from the USSR in 1991 but has closer political and economic ties to Russia than any of the other former Soviet republics. The country is relatively flat, with vast forests of hardwoods and evergreens broken up by a web of rivers, lakes and great bogs. Much of the northeastern end of the country is semi-wilderness. As hunting destinations go, it is largely overlooked by international hunters, yet it offers one of the largest herds of European bison in Europe, as well as red stag, wild boar, wolf and European moose.
Honor Roll subscriber J.Y. Jones recently returned from Belarus, where he killed a trophy-sized European moose that is bigger than both the Shiras and Eastern Canadian moose he took in North America. What's more, he says he shot this moose on a hunt conducted much like a moose hunt back home. It measures 42¼ inches wide in spread, has big palms and 13 points. (See photo in the Trophy Gallery section of our web site.) Jones expects it to rank high in the SCI Record Book once it dries and is formally scored.
Jones traveled to Belarus as part of a quest to collect all 52 Eurasian species from 22 countries in Europe with his Remington 700 in 7mm Ultra Mag. When looking for a place to hunt moose, he had considered Finland. The traditional method of moose hunting there and other places in Scandinavia involves driving the moose toward stationed hunters. A second method often employed in neighbor.
