    Any hunter used one of these Karsten Cheek Rest - 1 to raise the comb on a rifle ? Any feedback will be appreciated.

    Not on a rifle.

    however on a shot gun the stock was built with a cheek piece like that.

    The recoil will slide the stock back and my cheek would get cut with the slots in the cheek piece.

    Tape over the piece solve that issue and also a little sanding and re paint job did the trick also.

    The think was the cheek piece came loose after a little shooting and you needed to check to make sure it was always tight.
