Pelican IM3300 stormcase, a little wider, cheaper, better handles and latches than the standard Pelican 1750 case.
Hardigg IM3300 (Same thing really as Pelican now owns them.)
It looks like a gun case but it takes a beating, has wheels, pressure compensation and is waterproof.

Americase... and get the cover for the case...i have single and double cases. they will custom make a case for your rifles. and the cover to go with it plus will put your name and address on it. they also make a lockable shell case.

Tuffpak... this case will hold up to 3 long guns and the soft cases...

I have a Kalispel "The Original". It is made from aluminum, has wheels and a locking bar that slides thru four hasps. Holds two scoped rifles easily,.It has been to Africa four times without a problem. I highly recommend.
Tuffpak - accepts your rifles in their soft cases (which you generally need anyhow), relatively light, and if you're still under the weight limit, add shooting sticks, socks, underwear, boots, etc ....
The latches on the Pelican 1750 are useless for airline travel. If you don't mind the case arriving with all the latches undone and the only thing holding the case shut is the pad locks, then go for it.
Maybe the latches on the Pelican stormcases are better. I don't plan to find out because I don't plan on giving Pelican another dime for a gun case.
If the Tuffpak design is not what you're looking for, the latches on Boyt's hard case are considerablly better than the Pelican 1750 latches.
As always, just my opinion, but it is based on personal experience. I have tried the Tuffpak, Boyt and Pelican 1750.

I bought a Tuff-pak for my last trip. I wont be going back to a standard case.
Pelican 1750. So far the airlines have not been able to break it. I've seen it roughly handled multiple times, but the rifles have come out still zeroed in. That's what counts to me.
