Default Assistance selecting an electronic predator call?

Hi, all... I'm looking for a lightweight (5 lbs or so, will be taking on flights), high volume, remote-operated, preferably wireless predator call (so I can place the speaker not too near me)... I don't think I'll need scores of different sounds, I'm thinking 10 or so asst. death throes will attract predators worldwide...I'll use it 1st for Nfld. coyotes on a moose hunt then in Zimbabwe (where they're legal on private land) for hyenas & small cats/honey badgers/civets... I now have a HEAVY old Johhny Stewart; n/g for my needs. I also don't want to use a mouth call, just not my thing---I use my own voice for deer grunts, hogs, & turkeys but I get a sore throat when I try to sound like a dying fawn! Any/all advice is really appreciated...

Here is a place where you can find what you are looking for when it comes to game calls for predators, Foxpro (www.gofoxpro.com) offers the equipment as well as several predator sounds specifically for Africa, including Jackals and by all means you should try a variety of other sounds to see what works best such as Cottontail Distress, Young Rabbit, Partridge Distress, Game Bird Chick Distress, Guinea Fowl Distress, Chicken Distress and there is more to choose from. Good luck in Zimbabwe, please let us know how it turns out...

Please let me know if you need any more info on the foxpro callers. I have had a couple of the models and still do problem animal control, so are still in the loop with the callers and their technology.

Foxpro is the choice of almost everyone I know. I have a Spitfire, it is extremely compact and has great sound, more volume than you will use 99% of the time and they also are relatively inexpensive. By far the best choice for travelling IMO. They also have lots of African sounds available as well. (After hearing one being taken down I can vouch that the Springhare distress is bang on)
    The journey is the reward.

I second the Foxpro. I had a older JS, and it does not come close to my foxpro, very good quality, easy to use, and ease to load/change sounds
