Nikko Stirling Nighteater 8 x 56
Hi all
I'm looking at putting the Nikko Stirling Nighteater 8x56 scope on my Voere .308. I've heard some mixed feedback about the rifle recoil being to hard on the scope but then others say it would be perfect.
Any advice?

It would be a good choice if you enjoy frustration, replacing it with something that works and screwing up a hunt if you were to take it hunting.
Put a Quality scope on it if it is an important rifle to you. A leupold is a good choice or if money is short get a Redfield 3X9X40 for it

The reason there are mixed reviews is probably because it's hit and miss with quality. I believe Howa puts these scopes on their package guns.
I would second Diverhunter just said. Save a little more money and get a better quality scope. If you go to Cheaperthandirt.com, or Sportsmansguide.com they have really good sales from time to time. You can get a Burris Fullfeild II for under $200. Just my thoughts, put a quality scope on your hunting rifle. Check out some Pawn shops, sometimes these guys will sell the scope off of a rifle."That which does not kill us makes us stronger" Friedrich Nietzsche

My friend, let me be brutally honest with you, don't waste your money on a crappy scope. NS scopes are fine for air guns or .22's but not for a carry in the bush hunting rifle. They are not built to take any punishment at all. Any knock or bump, and your hunt is over..!
One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted.
