Hunting with Two Waters Safari is one of the high points of my hunting life. I have hunted in harder country but never have I had better accomodations, staff, or trophys. Chris, Brian and the gang made me feel as if I were part of their family. The hunting was challenging(much lkike elk or sheep hunting in some cases) and I harvested some incredible animals. Chris is the consumate PH, working hard to get me into a position to take the best animals. I am addicted to kudu tenderloin thanks to Chris and the team. You couldn't find a better hunt if you tried!
Incredible Hunt - 12/24/2011 07:31:30 David Combs from Scottsdale, AZ USA
If you are looking for a canned hunt, this is not the outfit for you. If you are looking for a classic spot and stalk, fair chase hunt in incredible areas I could not recommend Two Waters Safaris enough. Most hunts in ZA are conducted from the back of a pickup or from a blind over food and water (check out the youtube videos). Hunting with Christoph with Two Waters was so much like hunting elk in the Western US, we glassed from high vantage points and would spot and stalk from there. The areas are often thick with brush and steep. We did as the previous reviewer stated drive often up to an hour away but that was to allow us to hunt in fairly virgin territory, just like elk hunting usually the best animals are more remote. If you want a pasture hunt where they hunt in blinds around the camp with animals of very limited range do not choose them. To boot I found them to be very honest about pricing. The lodge was great, some how I could not hardly get off my days dirty hunting clothes before they were laundered and back in my room. I was only there for a short while but I was made to feel like one of the family and we will remain life long friends. I had a hunt of a lifetime, got a great trophy and enjoyed every minute of it. Thanks again Brian and Christoph for a great hunt.
Great Hospitality. Bad PH. - 08/04/2011 00:39:59 Brian Gallup from Kamloops. BC, Canada
Great hospitality. Staff at lodge work hard and are well organized. Food is great. Very poor hunting program. Very long drive to hunting areas. ( sometimes 2 hours) Pushy, self centered PH who smoked. (Clement) Problems with billing. (Bait and Switch.) Hunters can do much better for same $$ or less. I know from experience. 4x hunting in South Africa.
