In July, 2011, my husband, my adult daughter, and myself spent 2&1/2 unbelievable
weeks in South Africa, all thanks to the amazing folks at Restless Africa Safaris. My
husband is a hunter, and took 6 plains game animals (kudu, impala, waterbuck,
blesbuck, blue wildebeest, hartebeest, and warthog), a dream come true for him. My
daughter and I do not hunt, but we also had an incredible experience.
Donovan and his staff customized our itinerary for this one of a kind vacation like
no one else could have. Along with a week of hunting, we were able to spend several
days scuba diving in one of the top ten dive sites in the world. We were thrilled with our
time in Pilansberg National Park, where we saw éhe big five? We spent 2 days in Sun
City, the Vegas of South Africa, and also got to feed and pet elephants. All our
accommodations were first class, and we felt pampered and safe every step of the way.
I think what sets Restless Africa Safaris apart is their ability to listen to their clients,
and customize the itinerary to give them exactly what they want. I had looked into other
hunting experiences for my husband, and for what it would have cost to hunt one
Colorado elk, he was able to have the trip of a lifetime. My daughter and I were able to
choose our adventures as well, and we will never forget being 20 feet from a lioness
and her cubs. If you are looking for an outfitter that is big enough to take you exactly
where you want to go, but small enough to give you personal attention, then Restless
