I had always dreamt of hunting in Africa but never thought it would be possible.  But after meeting Doyle at a party and discussing the ins and outs of a safari with him, I knew it was going to happen.  Doyle was able to offer me seemingly endless valuable advice on how to prepare in terms of where to go, who to hunt with, what to expect, what to do, and just as important, what NOT to do.  After much discussion, I decided on a 7–day plains game hunt in Namibia for May 2009.  Doyle helped with all of the arrangements from booking airline tickets, getting my rifle through South African customs on my connecting flight (not something a novice wants to do unassisted!), booking hotels and side-trips for myself and my wife before and after the hunt, arranging for shipping the trophies back to the States, finding a taxidermist, etc.  The list of ways in which Doyle and Khoisan Adventures provided top-quality assistance could go on and on.  I am already in discussion with Doyle for my return trip in 2012 to hunt plains game in South Africa.  And if the powers-that-be (i.e. my wife) allow it, I will be booking with Doyle again in 2014 for a buffalo hunt.  It would be hard to find a better agent and all too easy to find a much worse one - book with Khoisan Adventures!!

I have been on 2 trips  arranged by Khoisan Adventures - one to Namibia, the other to  Botswana. The depth of knowledge, attention to detail, and people skills are outstanding. I have recommended Khoisan Adventures to several friends, all of whom have come back completely "blown-away" by their experiences. On my trips, I have seen hundreds to thousands of head of game a day, experienced fantastic fair-chase hunting, and had terrific photo opportunities. The accommodations and food have been outstanding, without being excessive. African safaris can be more affordable than most would think. I can hardly wait for my next trip!

I have been to Africa before on safari with others but I must say that booking with Khoisan Adventures was the best choice hands down. I remember the first time I spoke with Doyle on the phone, I was at ease immediately. And I had confirmation after we met in person at SCI as the safari we planned with Doyle was as close to perfect as you could get. From the numbers of game we saw, to the Cape Buffalo, Kudu, Gemsbok, Red Lechwe and others we collected it was an exceptional experience throughout with Doyle every step of the way. At some point hopefully in the near future I will take my son on his first African safari, and I can say without a doubt that I will have Doyle at Khoisan Adventures set it up for us.
