Dallas Safari Club Show 2013 - Report From the Field!

Report From the Field- First day at DSC
The weather was OK but cool. Snow maybe tonight. The crowds were low (as usual for first day) the company of old friends and hunting outfits outstanding. Too many booths to visit in just one day. Have to stay for 2 more just to see everyone. :-)

This was my first full day (friday). Traffic was pretty good but not crazy. The setup seems pretty good and I have visited with a few of you. I'll try and take more pictures tomorrow. Cliffy, hope to make your conference as well!

Time for some pictures. I am going to post a bunch just to give everyone an idea of what they missed.
Overall, I enjoyed the show. The aisles seemed a bit small but the layout was pretty good. The people in attendance seemed to cover a wider spectrum than SCI but all very friendly. Several whitetail outfitters but lots of good friends from Africa as well. Here are a few pictures:

That Leopard.
I showed the sleeping lion to my wife and got a reply I never thought I would hear, "I could see that in the house"
After I got up off the floor and back into my chair. I asked "Why?"
Her reply: "Because it is not all about the biggest and the best."
That says something about the taxidermy work for sure.
