Dallas Safari Club show AH get together for dinner Saturday night Jan5th

I've found the "Iron Cactus" restaurant just 4 short blocks from the convention center. Reviews are good, full bar, Tex/Mex style, dinner seems to be between $12 and $18/person
What do you all think? Probably need a head count for reservations that night

OK everyone Phoenix Phil and I have been talking and I thought this thread died but I guess not.
He and I need a head count on who wants to have dinner Saturday night and some indication if you'd prefer the close in restaurant the Iron Cactus or the other place little further away from the convention center
Time is short so let's hear from all of you.

OK folks Lets do this-
I will be car-less (foot power only) in Dallas this time and will need to leave early on Sunday but I (we, my wife Carol and me) would really like to meet up with any of the AH crowd who wants to meet for dinner. The Iron Cactus is only 4 short blocks from the convention center so my proposal is to meet at say 18:30 hrs (6:30 PM) for those not on military time :-) at the Iron Cactus. The first round of drinks will be on me- so be on time :-) 1520 Main Street Like I said, 4 short blocks north of the convention center.

Cliffy, would be awesome, will also be in our booth in C147, hope to see some AH guys for a meet, and visit.

Damn it!!! I want to go too, but I have to work. I don't know any of you but would liked to have met some you at the show. You all seem like a great group of guys. Nothing beats the bond and camaraderie of a fellow hunter. Maybe next year. Have fun and Happy New Year to all...CHEERS!!

Cliffy... I will do my best to attend, but cannot promise anything yet as I already have a few tentative evening meets.

As time is short I just wanted to keep this at the top of the board for a couple of days as a reminder to all in Dallas. I'll call ahead and ask for a few seats to be set aside at 18:30hrs (6:30PM for you non-military time types :-) Saturday, Jan 5th. If you can give me any idea of your plans to attend it will help with the reservations Thanks to All!

I'm calling the Iron Cactus today to set up a table Guessing 8-10 for starters. I'll be back to this thread later today with the final set up but plan on !8:30 (6:30PM) at 1520 Main Street 4 short blocks north of the convention center.

The table is arranged for the dinner. No reservations needed as it is 14,000 sq ft of restaurant. 6:30PM Saturday evening. Iron Cactus 1520 Main Street 4 blocks north of the convention center, See ya'all there!
