OK Guys Are we getting together Saturday night somewhere? I'll volunteer to find the restaurant (near the convention?) if everyone wants to meet.

OK I've found the "Iron Cactus" restaurant 4 short blocks from the convention center. Walk-able. Looks good, reviews are very good, all the dinners seem to be $12-$18/person. Tex/Mex food, full bar.
How does this set with anyone interested in getting together?
We probably need to get some kind of a head count for reservations on Saturday night.
OK everyone-belly up to the bar to be counted!IF YOU GO ONCE-YOU WILL GO AGAIN-DEAL WITH IT

Oh now I see this after replying in your other thread. I've not been to the Iron Cactus but that's fine by me if everyone else is good with it. On the first page of this thread, I think my second post I suggested Uncle Julio's which I do know and is one of my favorites.

It was in post #6 on the first page that I put the link to Uncle Julio's. It's roughly the same price and is also Mexican food. It's not within walking distance of the convention center but the food is very good.

Walking distance with a full bar sounds good to me! What time are you guys thinking? Trying to nail down how many will be with me. Should know by next week.

I will be there hanging out and visiting my friends at Limcroma Safaris booth #'s 950 and 951. If you pass by, ask for Dan to say hello... I would very much like to meet some of the many AH.com members that I have had the pleasure to chat with over the years.

So, between the two threads.....are we meeting at the Iron Cactus or Uncle Julios? For what it's worth, I vote for the Iron Cactus....

I'll be calling the Iron Cross today to try to set up a table. I'm going to guess 8-10 folks for starters. I'll be back on this thread later with the set up but planning 18:30 (6:30PM) at the Iron Cactus, 4 short blocks north of the convention center at 1520 Main Street.
