Lately I've been in contact with Jerome from Ozondjahe Safaris. Sounds like it's the place for me and my longbow.
Now the fun begins. I find hashing out the details amost as much fun as the hunt.
Is nine months ahead too early to begin packing?

Haha,
Enjoy friend! You'll have a great time!
You will have a great hunt with Jerome
No 9 months is not enough-it cuts the planning and packing fun time down :-)
You will be banned here if you don't write up your hunt when you get back. WITH PICTURES!
Cliffy, no worries on the pics...
Last trip to SA I took over 450 stills and 13+ hours of video (Got my Impala on film at the "Turn your head and cough" moment)
Geeee Cliffy & Brickburn
Buzz1858 will be shaking in his boots and probably miss now...
Jerome will be in a slump and the story goes down hill fast...from there...
Ah James, got you there...
No animals, misses, PH in a slump, who cares?
It's AFRICA man!
Brickburn, have to see if I can figure out how to edit/post vids here...
Also have my zebra on tape, right up until I let go of the string, when I kicked the tripod over (oops)
Ok, I give up - how do you post vids here? Do I have to use you tube?
Got the files on the computer, but no url's for them.
Okay, think I got it....
Nock shattered when I released, so arrow was going pretty much sideways - but it worked.
Nice of him to come back - no tracking.

It is not so long .Sometimes the wait is more fun because the actual hunt is over so quickly.:D
never mind got the video to work, Great shot. Love that return bulldozing dirt action.
Good luck on your trip!
Take lots of photos and be sure you savor every moment of the adventure, you only get one first African Safari.
