Is it taboo to hunt white Elephant

Its worse when you start looking for pink elephants......

Drink enough vodka and the color won't matter can maybe purple.

It all depends on how long the white elephant has been free to roam the area and if a group of nameless people on the Internet say it's ok.

Isn't a white elephant when some upstanding person offers you a great invetment with 100% return?

Not really my kind of place to hunt.

I'm not so sure the people of Burma or Thailand would share your sense of humour if you did bag a white elephant though. Though I ain't so sure that they're really all that 'white'.

The only point of shooting a white Elephant would be to get a full mount and I could never afford that, so I would let it walk

I suppose hunting a 'white elephant' would put you in the same category as hunting the 'black sheep'...but there again it'll also depend as to what family pedigree he's from!! But shame guys....they're both just unwanted and unloved!!
