Finally a Plan
To all of the very dear friends I have made on this site
Finally, I have come up with a plan
October,Botswana with Bridger
Next, the Sutherland School
Then, about 10 days with Shangwari
If Obama get re-elected
Like Robert Earl Keen said "I ain't never goin' back"
cool my heels til I pick up with Jerome in Namibia in June
catch some soft time in the Stellenbosch
until I hook up with Wayne in Zim
by early 2014 maybe the smoke has cleared and I can go back to work
Obviously, I invite comment and suggestion

WOW! I am so envious, I can hardly speak... What a fabulous plan! It seems to leave enough flexibility to basically do whatever you want. We are, of course, expecting a running commentary in your usual, eminently readable and unmistakable literary style, peppered with Bon-Mots and anecdotes! What are you taking (apart from the gramophone, of course)?
Overkill is underestimated!

SW,
In order:
Send lots of picture of Bridger's new haunts.
Tell David Hello for me and start studying your laws now.
Take your long johns and a toque for sleeping at night, there is no heating.
Be first to the shower. That means 0530. Make it quick too.
Sit under the Leopard, at least you can see out the window when you get tired of his face.
Make Jerome find you a Cheetah, at least for pictures.
Find Andries and share some good wine.
Stay bloody safe and shoot straight.Practice whispering before you leave for Africa!
A Legend in my own mind!

I dont think it will work. With a schedule like that you will burn yourself out. You better plan to break things up with a Red Stag hunt or maybe Argali, both would probably be best just to be safe.
The journey is the reward.

Second Wind
When you make the move to go on safari this fall keep us abreast of your plan.
While the travel and scheduled is doable what are your trophy goals.
The Sutherland Hunting Academy is to be one of the best good luck.
Take pictures and we will look forward to your hunting and travel reports....James Grage - New Mexico

Phil
I believe that SW needs to put a plan in place for his royal followers to fit into the plan...
1. Gun bearer
2. 1St Aid
3. Water carrier
4. Ammo Carrier
5. Photographer
6. Go-fer
7. 2nd Gun Bearer and rifle cleaner
now did i miss any....
You see the list could go on and on and i am sure Second Wind will fall into place.

Yes you missed the most important one- Transportation Captain!
With my 5 decades of flying experience I am the only one :-) with the know how to get all of you from place to place with the ease of something like a Cessna Caravan for the outback airstrips. Truly first class from the very start. I am obviously indispensable. Every other job mentioned can be filled by locals. Sorry guys.
I'm looking forward to the trip. I'll write when we get back :-)
