He he. We were just at the Madison zoo where my wife Packsy keep estimating yardage and making the motion of drawing her bow back, much to the dismay of some other patrons. Seems that hanging with me has causes her to be "under the influence."
When I am not hunting, I am thinking about hunting....I think I'll go hunting.

When, before safari, you make trips to Cabelas specifically to look at the mounts...then after your return you go back and smile when you realize your trophies are bigger!

When you measure every day-to-day household expenses in your own unit of currency - the warthog...

"...those jeans cost half a warthog..."

"...that car service cost me three warthogs, and those tyres another two..."

And those bloody groceries, that's a warthog every week!

I will only hunt 2x1 if it is my wife or son hunting with me. In either case I am perfectly happy to give them first crack at the animals.

Other than them..I never will again.

Same here. In the total cost of a hunt the price difference is inconsequential between 2x1 and 1x1. In terms that some who have posted above can relate to, that is only 1/2 of a Wildebeest on a 10 day hunt or a Steinbok on a 7 day hunt. Save for 1 more month and go 1x1. If you choose to spend some of those days 2x2 with your hunting buddy, great, your still way ahead.
    The journey is the reward.

Yes, I'm there. Practicing on feral hogs with a .375 is quite interesting, though.

When you cuss the 'African American' yello cab taxi driver out in Zulu ...and he replies!

I saved money by not getting any lawyers involved in it at all

The only ones I would hunt 2x1 with, are my children.
