Youll never make it, the itch will grow until you sell your car, house, first born, or what ever it takes! And FYI we are all bad influences on here, very bad. LOL Im sure you will have a blast when you do go. Better to show up with some green in your pocket than rush things.

Very funny Diamondhitch. I just put the car on Craigs list and I am thinking about selling the house on E-bay.
I get the bad influence thing. You all are like my favorite dang disease.

Lucky guy, Ele is out of my league. Good luck, definitely need some pics.

No question you need more game on the wall period. Having never seen your walls I can definitely say they need more, lots more! Having kids may actually be a bonus for your hunting, once they turn say 5 or 6 get them making Nikes and spend the money on much needed esentials like a Sitatunga perhaps.

113 days for me. SA, Kwazulu Natal for 9 then Namibia for 14.

I suggest Imodium, something that is usually forgotten. I'll third the Journal. The dates a record book trophy is taken helps your SCI scorer filling out the forms.

You all going for the first time have a great trip and I know you will be talking about trip #2 before the first if over.

We originally booked our hunt for 2013 but couldn't wait. 30 days left tomorrow! We can't wait. Plains game with Omalanga Safaris. Small owner/operator in Namibia. We are the only people in camp!

I looked at their website. Like the tent camp idea. Price list is by request so couldnt see that. Looks like you should have a good hunt. Good luck!!

    This is simple.
We all need more game on our walls and if the walls are full, we just need to build more and bigger walls

My wife decided to pass on a trip this year. I am going in with just my son. If my wife did go, I was going to make sure I had a rifle she could use. When I was in Namibia the PH told use stories of wives who would get the bug and then shoot on the 5th or 6th day and take huge trophies. Depending on how much gun you are taking, she may want to take a few shots. My PH was going to put my wife on the hunter list (but pay observer rate).

My ex, a tree hugger, turned into a killing machine when I would take her over. In one hour nailed two zebra's, one impala and one blesbok. She them pissed about the bill.

Expanding the show room is never a bad idea.

My wife has no desire to come along, even to Africa. She will go camping but does not fish with me either. Usually a friend or client comes along other wise I go solo.
