Numzaan Safaris
Hi there!
I would like to share with you, that I will be acting as a Professional Hunter for Numzaan Safaris from 2012!
My first hunt with overseas clients will be in February, and I must say that I am a bit nervous, but at the same time also very excited!
It is a great opportunity, as Numzaan has been in die hunting industry for about 20 years and they are certainly one of the better outfitting companies in South Africa.
Have a look on their website for info and prices if you are interested: Numzaan Safaris
May all of you have a fantastic day!

The best of luck on this safari..I checked the website but could not find trophy fees for elephant/leopard/buffalo. Am I looking in the wrong areas or am I missing something. My hunting buddy, Mike met a representaive of Numzaan Safaris at the recent Suffren Sportsman Show in New York. He received a quote for Sable (quote 00521) and we are interested also for possible leopard and other plains game in addition Mike wanting an elephant. We are looking for June-July 2013 for 4 people - 10 to 12 days.

Hennie enjoy it to the fullest, never say die, and always go for it,.. with a 150% effort every step of the way you will have happy clients and a consumate carreer as a professional hunter. Learn to listen to others in the industry but also filter through BS, cut dead weight and those that fill your life with negativity.
I hope you have an awesome time!
All the best!

After many years on the ground I would like, if I may, to offer you three important bits of advice. Be honest with yourself, be honest with your clients and don't try to hunt too hard. All the best and good hunting.
One does not hunt in order to kill; on the contrary, one kills in order to have hunted.

Does stef still refill the bottled waters every day to save a dime? does he still stipulate in his contract that non hunters aren't fed breakfast or lunch???
Was I the only person that had to fight for a ph as he overbooked his camp and there weren't enough ph's to go around? Those are the main reasons I never returned to numzaan. Stef also took advantage of my wife and sisters ignorance to the extreme when it comes to hunting. there are several examples but the most grevious would be telling a 24 year old girl that the zebra standing broadside was an absolute great trophy and must be shot. When in fact the zebra in question that was shot was about a 7 month old zebra. I was on a budget that year and once he got my wife and sister to himself he had them rack up a $8,000 bill in only 4 hours of hunting the free state. Lets just say he's not a hunter but a business man. I can't say he did a single thing wrong. Nothing at all. I got my trophies, I was shuttled to and from the airport and nothing was stolen but for the true hunters out there I think some can see where I was a little dissapointed. Maybe stef changed, Maybe hes a good guy, I don't know. I do know that his partner john louise is an excellent ph and makes sure his clients only shoot trophys. Tony is still a ph for him and is the funniest man I've ever met bar non. I like tony and I like him a lot. Good man right there. If you meet him ask him about me and the quava juice. I couldn't understand his dialect. I asked him what I was drinking and could have swore he told me vulva juice. We laughed about that the entire hunt and I still laugh about it to this day. He offered to take me to the kitchen so that we could watch the black lady make it. He made jokes about it the entire time. Hes a nut. Anyways, there are some good people there and I hope you have a great time. Just watch your pay check and don't let him hit you where it hurts the most as I'm pretty sure he will. As I've said before he an excellent business man and very good at it.
Good luck and I wish you all the best.
PS stef did send an apology letter after my last gripe about his operation for what its worth.

so stef, have you addressed the problems i mentioned above. are you making sure all guests are looked after? are you no longer refilling the used bottle waters and now buying new waters for all to drink. are you also making sure everyone is fed? and have you taken measures to ensure overbooking doesnt occur?

all im trying to do stef is to give u a chance to put out an apology publicly or state something along the lines of an error occured. i dont know what happened on my safari and for all i know i could have had an oddball safari with you. maybe supplies were running low and maybe my wife and sister were overlooked and maybe we had a totally unexpected safari with you from unforseen circumstances. i put your name out here publicly before and im sure people remember that. if u dont want to address the issue then fine. and as for you being a businessman and. ot a hunter maybe im misjudging you. maybe you simply wAnted to get our wives the best trophiez possible not knowing whether or not they could shoot. im always open for the other side of the story and ive never got your side. heck maybe you get excited about hunting to and just wNted our wives to get animals. i dont know what reasons you had but you can definitely work toward rectifying your name. thats all im saying.
