SECOND SAFARI DURING THE SAME YEAR
Are there anyone whom have conducted a second plains game safari to the same destination with the same outfitters in the same country during the same year?
I was just wondering...

I don't know too many people that will do that...for the simple reason...MONEY and time away from family and work. I know one guy that bowhunted leopard with the same outfitter twice in one year....and that's because he needed the leopard to finish the BIG 5 and he was crazy about accomplishing the goal.
I would be supremely happy hunting Africa once a year.

The answer to your question is that it does happen however as enysse points out it is rare.
Many times a hunter books a 5 to 7 day safari and soon time and money are available in working with a outfitter will book a second safari back to back...same PH with different game in the picture...
On AH if you watch and read closely you will see that where a limited few hunters will book 2 to 3 short safari's in different countries that they have lined up one after the other...it is rare however it is out there...

It would really have to be at a significant discount or that I didn't have an opportunity at something magnificent that I really wanted and now it's in the area. Other than that, it wouldn't be financially feasible.

To me the airplane ride, ticket and all the hastle is worth only once a year. I'm like most people...when I set foot in Africa...I'm there to hunt and spend every last dollar hunting. And I like to plan the trip to make best use of my time and money. And if I have to hunt with 2 or more outfitters to get my hunting needs met...so be it. Africa is such a vast continent with rich wildlife treasures
.
Two plane tickets a year and all the hastle with it...not for the faint of heart. I'd do it a heartbeat if someone else was paying. But otherwise "NO".

I did two safaris this year, not with the same outfitter. I did this because I wanted to experience two different areas and biomes in SA. But, actually it is too much, financially and time consuming. But if you got the time and the money, why not?

Then in this case we as Outfitters have to consider ourselves as priviledged.
A couple from the USA were on safari with us during March 2011 after which they returned for a follow up safari with us again during early September 2011.
