    Default Be careful out there... PH mauled by Lion

    Just got the news, a PH I hunted with last year was mauled by a lion.

    Fortunately it was not serious, and he s back to work, with a bandaged arm. However, it could have been much worse.

    Shoot straight and hunt safely guys !

    I will get more details from a friend when he comes back from SA, as far as I know, he was going to give a finishing shot to an apparently dead lion.

    The PH will need further surgery on his hand, which has not healed well.

    I am still waiting on further details about how the accident took place.

    What country are we trying to find any information of this incident...a name or outfitter or PH would be useful...

    James, the incident took place in RSA, however, the PH does not want his name in Internet Forums, and I have to respect that.

    Whenever I get more details on the incident, I will share it with you guys.
