Brickburn has supplied some good info here. Remember that then there is the small factor of the Limpopo Bushbuck versus the Cape Bushbuck. Would be nice to see which one of the two gets the forum member's vote?

Lots of good pics to compare now :)
I am looking forward to having another go at the little buggers when with Touch Africa in Zim next week. Jonathan tells me they have good hunting for them in the bush. I did take a nice 13 incher, my first, in the Limpopo in '09 with Bosbok Safaris and PH Phil de Kock.
This is my best at 17"+ taken in Mozambique with Mokore Safaris in '07. There was no need to worry about the trophy quality of this ram. He now resides as a lifesize mount in my living room. I've been quite lucky with bushbuck taking 5 varieties of bushbuck in 6 different countries. They are one of my favorite animals to pursue.

Good luck Ses. I hope we can compare our trophies for fun in the middle of August.
Lets hope so! However with my luck, I NEVER count my chickens...till they are in the salt. Good luck to you as well!
Here's hoping....
Some fantastic bushbuck stories and pictures! I hunted the Limpopo for bushbuck, among other species. Very addicting, fun hunting the long grass for these sneaky little beautys. Got a 16" one. Would definitely hunt them again.
