Civil unrest in RSA?
I've been reading as of late about ANC politicians like Julius Malemma who want the RSA to pursue Zimbabwean style land confiscation from the whites and killing of the whites. How much of a possibility is this and how close is it? Do they only want the farms or will they be after white owned safari operations too? How close might Civil War be? Thanks in advance for anyone who can shed some light on this for me.

Hi guy’s I would like to thank you all first and foremost for your concern.
I don’t think that people should be worried it is a mixture of politics and the media and usually when you mix the two of them it leads to things being blown out of proportion.
Julius Malema is the leader of the ANC youth league and yes he has said some things that really should not be said. Malema is persisting with singing the song kill the farmer kill the boer but luckily this has lead to his downfall amongst is own people.
Malema will not last long please read the following:
http://www.news24.com/Tags/People/julius_malema
Land claims yes there are some problems in Limpopo but no one is going is specifically going after game farms.
Please read
http://www.news24.com/SouthAfrica/News/Call-for-action-on-Limpopo-land-20040913
Guy’s yes a lot of over excited people and some of them are really getting carried away I do not think that our clients have anything to fear and civil war, I don’t see it happening.
This is more political than anything and the media might be running away with it.
Just my opinion.
Hope this helps?
Best Regards

Hello all,
Now ill share some of my info. All what Louis said is 100 % correct.
Malema has been going on about talking nonsense for about 3 years now the only reason why the ANC dont want to fire him is because he brings many people to the voting poles and brings in all the votes, for some reason the black youth love this guy that has not even finished school.
Malema earns around R 7000 a month as the ANC youth league president however he is connected to some mining firms and his construction company that wins all the GOV tenders what a coincidence... Remember he says he only gets around R 7000 but he owns 2 houses in Johannesburg each worth about 3 million rands has about 3 luxurious cars... need i say more.
He is the only person singing racist songs and spreading hate and talking about the apartheid struggle but he was not even affected or born in apartheid , not even Jacob Zuma or Mandela speaks about it and they were affected in the past.
The only issue i heard lately regarding game farms were that the Agricultural union is complaining that game farms do not provide the nation any food as irrigation or livestock farms so they should be given to the blacks to farm on ... These things such as land reform and civil war will never happen in SA unless Malema becomes president which i doubt he will never be so no worries.
Hope this helps.

Hi Christian and Tom,
There is no need to worry, as Louis said that the media and politicians blow things up and run away with stories. Everything is summed up nicely between Louis and Owen.
Do not cancel your flights or worry about your hunt for next year. Things will still be the same.

I am finding it to be very hard to believe that there is not some fire behind all of the smoke. Malemma has even said that they are waiting for the FIFA World Cup to end before they begin confiscating land from the whites. I am a little bit anxious to see what happens after the FIFA World Cup ends.
BTW, thanks for all of the replies.

All I can say is that finally the media is moving away from Zim, we have had enough' bad media coverage' over the last 10 years perhaps now with the focus on our neighbors, we can move on. Julius Malema, in my opinion is far worse than others...........I would pay attention after the world cup..........

Petr don’t worry Malema will go hide with his buddies in Zimbabwe soon they like it over there LOL.
After all Malema and Mgabe are the best of buddy’s and he is relying on Mgabe to help him with his political future and we all know what the World thinks of that.
Media and one 2 crazy political idiots what a joke.
