Anyone heard of restrictions on black wildebeest?
I read somewhere that there may be restrictions on the black gnu. I can't find it now & wanted one when I go back to RSA in August.
Karamojo Bill When I leave this world, I want to come skidding through the Pearly Gates & hear God say, "Whoa, boy! That was a heck of a ride!"

Hi Bill
Yes black wildebeest are on the top’s you will need to apply for a permit before you hunt one.
This can easily be done just give you ph some prior notice and I am sure that he will be able to sort it out for you.

Hi Louis,
You are absolutely right. Black Wildebeest is on the TOPS list and a permit needs to be issued prior to the hunt. The permits are easy to get, but it take up to a week before it is in the hand of the outfitter. Bill just let your outfit know in advance that you want to hunt a Black Wildebeest and there shouldn’t be a problem.
