taxes and fees and services of the Government of namibia?
my friends
Would like to take some doubts about namibia.
First, there are taxes or fees for hunting of animals that must be paid to the government?
There is a fee that has to pay for the entry of weapons and ammunition?
Which government department that has information officers?
What is the normal price of preparation and packaging of skins and horns?
Thank you for your attention.

Hunting Namibia
First, there are taxes or fees for hunting of animals that must be paid to the government?
No, there is no government tax of 15% to be paid on trophy fees as long as the trophies are exported, however the government tax of 15% is applicable and payable by the client on wounded game not recovered and trophies that are not exported from Namibia.
There is a fee that has to pay for the entry of weapons and ammunition?
No, temporary importation of firearms and ammunition into Namibia is free of charge.
Which government department that has information officers?
Sorry but I do not understand your question.
What is the normal price of preparation and packaging of skins and horns?
When it comes to the Dip and Pack, there is no set price. Costs vary according to the taxidermist that you will be using in Namibia and prices are based upon the species and the number of animals/trophies to be processed. Also the costs are subject to the different parts of the animal to be processed, skull/horns, cape skin, back skin, full skin, teeth, tail, hoofs... To get a realistic idea of this Dip and Pack cost, I would recommend you to contact a couple of taxidermists in Namibia to get quotes from them specifically based on what you will be looking at shipping back.
Here is to give you an indication in US$ of the Dip Prices for 2009 from a Namibian taxidermist. Packing is 20% on total order value or a minimum of US$ 75.00 per client. Other fees may apply.

BETO,
I am not sure that I understand your question correctly. Are you asking if there is a $1000 trophy fee how much goes to the government? If it is a privately owned property, none of the trophy fee for the animal will go to the government.
