The fur and the skull are the trophy. It is a fact that the biggest world trophies at fur and skull were from hunting brown bear in Romania.The brown bear fur world record is owned by a trophy of 687.79 points and is from 1983, and the skull world record has 69.47 points and is from 1994.
Also, the most valuable 10 brown bear furs and 5 from the first 10 skulls around the world come from hunting brown bear in Romania.

HUNTING IN ROMANIA IMPLIES TWO COSTS FOR THE GUEST HUNTERS:

ONE COST IS FOR THE HUNTING PACKAGE THAT
INCLUDES: TRANSPORT, MEALS, NON-ALCOHOLICS DRINKS, AIRPORT ASSISTANCE FOR ARRIVAL AND DEPARTURE, PREPARATION OF THE TROPHIES, ACCOMMODATION, HUNTING GUIDE AND PROFESSIONAL HUNTER FOR ALL THE HUNTS, CITES CERTIFICATES FOR EXPORT, HUNTING PERMITS. THE HUNTING PACKAGE HAS A FIXED PRICE PER STAY AND PER HUNTER.

THE SECOND COST IS FOR THE TROPHY, BY LAW IN ROMANIA, THE HUNTER MUST ALSO PAY FOR THE TROPHY.

HUNTING PACKAGE COSTS FOR DRIVEN HUNTING:
Driven hunts are available during the Fall ONLY.
1 hunter for 3 days of hunting/4 nights minimum.
For 3 hunters Euro 900/person (for the entire stay per hunter)
Additional day, organizing driven hunting included Euro 250
Non-hunting tourist/night Euro 160


HUNTING PACKAGE COSTS FOR BAIT HUNTING:
1 hunter with a guide 3 hunting days /4 nights Euro 1200 (for the entire stay per hunter)
Supplementary days Euro 250

TROPHY PRICES (FEES) FOR ALL HUNTING SEASONS
Bear trophy till 350 CIC points included 5000 Euro
Bear trophy above 351 to 400 CIC points 7000 Euro
After 401 CIC points +80 Euro/point

So, what is a DRIVEN HUNT for a Brown bear??
I have never heard of this one before.
Buchbuck, Pheasants, etc..... Most people want to leave quickly if a Bear is coming toward them!!

in autumn the drivennting hunt have their special place in our hunting customs.
together with brown bear you can shoot wild boar , very big in romania , wolfs , foxes....
to be onest is not so dangerous because you shoot from a high place special choose , ussualy in places that bears use it to pass
