Is that not the area that has been plagued with problems with the govt and native hunters, transients,
Scarcity of game. Issues with landowners etc etc.?

Absolutely not. Probably the best anti-poaching unit in Africa. No settlers. Plenty of game. Over 1,000,000 acres of the best hunting in Africa. Extremely well run with competent Outfitters and PHs. The manager will tolerate zero BS.
It is not to be confused with Bubiana.

Looks excellent! Any possibility to hunt Buffalo at that time?

Mike, thanks for your concise but very precise post re status of the BVC - well put!
And next Mike, buffalo tags all taken for 2013 unfortunately but it may be possible to upgrade closer to the time, after the shows, may be some postponements, cancellations.
Really though, these hunts are designed for the first timer, or father/son, (and Africa nuts knowing a good deal when they see it!) and gives them the opportunity to take a diverse bag in a huge area amongst the Big Five. Very rare to be able to do that these days.
Cheers,
AdeAde Langley

Hi Ade
Thanks for the quick response. I think I have hunted in that area a couple times? Is this the old Lemco concession?
If so what a great area!
What's the chances of taking a Honey Badger or African Wildcat?
I'm one of those guys who just loves to hunt, especially when it's a good deal!
Thanks
Mike

Mike,
Yes, the old Lemco indeed, don't know how far back you hunted there but it has changed immensely over the last 7 or 8 years. As night hunting is not a problem there is a hi success rate on small nocturnal critters. I would say 99% chance of wildcat and 85% chance of honey badger. Succes on these species is directly related to the hours spent at it at night, covering ground, and being properly equipped - bring a 22 mag or whatever you normally use at home on similar game - i..e. familiarity with the tool at night with a lamp, small target, quick acquisition, etc.

Ade
I hunted Buffalo with HHK, Wayne Williamson was the PH. I also hunted Plainsgame after an Elephant hunt in the Campfire area with Alec Strauss. I remember driving through the gate and having a monster Leopard walking along side the road in broad day light 50 yards from the vehicle!
can you send me more information on this hunt and what you feel would be the best dates to come for small cats? I was there in February last time so I know it can be hot that time of year? My real dream is the elusive Serval?
I would shoot some of the Plainsgame also.
my email is mrdaley57@aol.com
thanks

Ade,
This a very good offer. I am not normally a proponent of 2 by 1 hunts; however with the amount of quality game on BVC this would be a great hunt to do with a friend, son, wife, father at an excellent price.
Congratulations to the hunters that choose this deal.
