CANCELLATION ALBERTA RUT MOOSE HUNT $2500 U.S. ALL IN INCLUDING LICENSE FEES

I have a rifle moose hunt available for Sept 23-30 for one hunter. This is an ATV hunt the opening week of rifle
season. The hunter would fly into Grande Prairie, Alberta on Sept 23 and be picked up at the airport and brought into
camp that night. This is a one on one hunt and you will be the only hunter in that camp. The hunt will be guided by
myself the outfitter and you should expect a moose in the 35-50 inch range. You will fly out on Sept 30. The cape and
antlers will be delivered to a local taxidermist for shipping or if the hunter is from the U.S. the trophy can be flown
home with them. This hunt includes all license fees, pick up and drop off at airport, all in field transportation, accomodations
while in Canada, field care and skinning, salting of capes, all food and drinks ( not including alcohol ). Accomodations will be
a 5th wheel trailer with flush toilet and shower. As stated this is a cancellation hunt for one hunter and no other dates are
available. Also if the hunter is from the U.S. and can drive all the meat can be taken home, if not it will be donated to locals
that need it.

Please forgive me if I have missed anything that should have been included. This hunt only became available tonight and at
this price it will not last long.

Does the time of year determine the weapon to be used? Can we use rifle or is it bow season?

First day of hunting would be Sept 24 which is opening day of rifle season. You can bow hunt if you choose but I would recommend using a rifle due to the ammount of days. I should also mention that the regular price for this hunt is $6500 U.S.
Also as with all my hunts a wolf tag is included and there is no trophy fee if one is shot.

How much walking will we be doing or will it be a glass and stalk situation? I am not sure if my knee will be able to take the hills in the area...(knee is just starting to heal up from my Africa trip)...feeling like i should do something...

Question on rifle across the border, can the permit be filled out at customs?

It has been a few years since i have been in your neck of the woods and is there still a dry ice locations still available to purchase dry ice blocks to bring back some of the meat? Reduce spoilage...if you take some coolers along, all comes back in great shape...

With the USD being at $1.02 to $1.00 Canadian and our dollar is dropping or yours is rising is this payable in USD or Canadian $.

Auroa, Very good offer, hope someone takes you up on it. I "almost" wish I wasn't elk hunting at that time.

The hunt will be mostly calling as the rut will be in full swing and I can get the Polaris side by side within 500 yards of most calling spots. The area where this hunt will take place is not too hilly with mostly lower areas and some swampy terrain. It will not be a death march walk you to death hunt. There is dry ice available to bring meat home and it can be cut and blast frozen immediately at a local butcher shop.

Yes permit can be filled out at customs for rifle import. $50 Canadian payable at customs. The hunt can be paid for in either U.S. or Canadian funds.
