Welcome to Ah. nice offer.
The elephant hunt could be of use to some one.
Being from the USA does not allow us the opportunity to import the ivory back...
Is there a legal market to sell the ivory in Mozambique if an elephant were to be taken.James Grage - New Mexico

Mozambique CITIES issue
James
I believe you could cross with your non-CITIES ivory at Juarez - El Paso.
Once you cross the river take a left onto IH 25 and head North, I think once you get past Las Cruces you should be fine.
In fact, if you go mid-week you can probably just walk the whole elephant over the bridge (Santa Fe street I think)
Please remember to obey the rules, no more than 1 bottle of distilled spirits, 2 cartons of un-taxed cigarettes,
1 complete elephant or parts thereof and positively no fruits or vegetables
Also, please note that border control officers from both countries are there to help you and do accept gratuities."He even took the gramophone on safari. Three rifles, provisions for a month and . . . . Mozart"

I had not figured the rest of the US Border Patrol in.... clearly, by the time you got where you got to where you are going the "gratuities" would have become excessive
However, a good smuggler always has a Plan B and here is mine
4 cans of John Deere green spray paint, stencil "used farm machinery" down the side and head North
and, the alternative to that would be to crate them up, declare them as "Stolen Mayan Artifacts" and call Fed Ex
(they'll ship anything anywhere...says so in their commercials)
If all that is too much inconvenience I can get you the number of a Cuban gentleman... a Mr. Suarez ... he does a njfty "pack and ship" for "cumbersome" materials
the point of this comedy is essentially this...with all the guns, drugs and people pouring across our Southern border, the concept of ICE, Homeland Security or the US Border Patrol spending much more than a millisecond enforcing CITIES defies all the logic I can muster"He even took the gramophone on safari. Three rifles, provisions for a month and . . . . Mozart"

Hi Second Wind. The problem is not with CITIES as we get CITIES here in Mozambique. The problem lies with the USA Fish and Wildlife. We need to change their bunny hugging ideas.

The town is called Nungo not Mungo and would be good for Leopard and Elephant LATE in the season.
Speaking from experience.
