martin they are seriously good deals

There are some deals in there. I've got to get over and hunt with you one of these days. What is a reasonable ivory expectation? 35-55 lbs?

Tom, early season produces some good bulls this year we have taken a 55 and a 60, late season expectations should be around 35 pounds. With a bit of luck though........

The buffalo are fantastic late season.

Just curious, how`s the plains game in this area?

The north along the lake has great plains game, the south has excellent sable in the hills, all in all a great all round area for DG and mixed bag of plains game

Also, when is it the best time of the year to hunt them ?

Percentages are always open to discussion! I get 6 lion/ year in the Omay ( north and south combined ), I do not sell 6 lion hunts, I sell 2 or 3/ year. The last 3 dedicated lion hunts have been 100 %, however if I had to say what are the chances at a big maned trophy lion, I would say 50 %. You will see lion tracks, hear lion and even late season be able to do a little tracking but whether or not a big cat hits a bait is the million dollar question.
September / October has been some of the better months over the past few years with some great cats being taken, late season hunts also offer the chance for u used quota such as leopard/ elephant/ buff etc. It is hot and baits rot fast but then again gives you more reason to shoot more animals.......

I posted a late season hunt for lion etc last year it was snatched up and the client took elephant, lion, buffalo, eland and had opportunities for leopard/ croc but turned them down, this hunt took place in october 2011.
