Just a question but aren't you suppose to clear your guns and yourself at an intl airport inside Mozambique first and not just fly into camp from Malawi ?
Can the camp be reached from Lichinga via road or charter ?

It is interesting that all prices are in USD and that US citizens cannot import ivory from Mozambique. Hopefully one day we can as there are some nice elephants in some very remote areas.

You could always import the Ivory to Canada or Mexico but yes Mozambique is loosing a lot of good US clientele for their elephants.

Not a bad deal for 18 days but I think this amount of time would be required. would be a good option when the Mango fruit is ripe towards the end of the season.
I noticed the T Fee go's up after 71Lbs. Does this mean the deal actually includes up to 70lbs and not 60?
If no jumbo is shot what is the credit?
Cheers.

Dear Sir,
The best time is from August to November 31 which is the end of our hunting season.
The deal is for up to 60 pounds. If the tusks are more than 60 pounds up to 70 pounds just add $ 5000 to the deal. The changes for more that 60 pounds are good if we work hard.
The deposit required does not include the trophy fee. You only pay for the elephant once it is shot. However, you pay the full daily rate. The deal is as follows:
Elephant License Fee: $ 7800 (must pay before hunts starts).
Additional Costs: $ 5500 (charter flight, rifle permits, hunting license, Transport fees)
Trophy Fee: $ 8400 (only pay if elephant is shot. This is for elephant up to 60 pounds. If the ivory weight is between 61 - 70 pound you add $ 5000 to the deal).
Daily Rate $ 13 300 (Must pay. 50% already included in the deposit. Balance of the daily rate to be paid 30 days before arrival).
Total: $ 35 000
Deposit needed: $ 15 050 (includes 50% of daily rate, Government trophy license fee, rifle permit, Mozambique hunting license:
Tips not included: $ 1050 (for all our staf)
