Karoo Experience - 7 day hunt (7 nights)

includes gemsbok, cape kudu, red hartebeest, impala, blesbok, springbok and steenbok.

$4500 1 client to 1 PH, $4000 2 clients to 1 PH

Mountain Challenge - 7 day hunt (7 nights)

includes cape kudu, mountain rhebok, klipspringer, bushpig, caracal and chacma baboon.

$4500 1 client 1 PH, $4000 2 clients 1 PH

Observer rate $140 per person per night

Rates include VAT, accommodation, all drinks and beverages, transfers to and from Port Elizabeth airport, trophy animals specified, field preparation and transport of trophies and rifle hire. No hidden costs.

Based in the Eastern Cape South Africa, 130km inland from Port Elizabeth. Accommodation in four star lodge on hunting property. All hunts are guided/PH by Karoo Wild Safari owner Victor Watson on property totaling 9000 hectares.

A point of clarification is the "Mountain Challenge" is the critter included a Vaal Rhebuck or a Mountain Reedbuck? You appear to have both listed in your Trophy Fees on your site.

Mountain Reedbuck is included. Apologies for that, I need to fix that on the site as well. In Afrikaans both are pronounced as "rhebok" and that's tripped me up.

As a general response to that question: June, July, August!

We hunt from March to December but winter, June/July is best. For kudu, late or early summer (March, November) is surprisingly good. You get more light at the end of the day when they're most active.
