You Don't sound like a #$#&, it is just that you might be blind or you can not read.
I said that Elephant is +/- 25 pounds and if you look closer it had only one tusk.
So go back and read the message.
I have a question for anyone out there. What is the point of shooting a young elephant, unless it had a broken tusk or injury? Wouldn't it be better for the herd to take a older bigger bull that had worn teeth and potentially doing more damage to the habitat, the rest of the herd is trying to making a living on?
enysse, what I dont understand is why someone would pay for a young animal hunt. Its like saying, 14,995 for a 170+ trophy class whitetail and special discounting @ 8995.00 for a spike horn but you cannot keep the meat or the spikes.
My question is if it is not PAC (illegal for tourist hunter), it cannot be management (no management quota is issued by Parks), it is not on trophy quota, what quota is it being hunted on?
Also what is a non-cites hunt and who authorizes the quota?
There is no need to tell me to come right or tell me I am blind and cannot read I would just like to hear the answer to the three questions.
Like I said I'm not picking on anyone, I'm fairly intelligent and know a lot of things on wildlife management. And I support Bushbucks statement and Mikes as usual.

Wouldn't it make sense to sell bulls for $20000 a piece that were mature, and then some cow hunts if the land is over populated....and I'm not thinking of the hunters pocket book, I'm talking about the wildlife management of the elephants....and of course the bull elephants are all exportable.

I think it's all pretty simple guys. Young, one tusked, no tusks, three legged, or one-eyed....if an operator can make $$ on an affordable ele hunt they are going to do it.
It sure seems that way Tom, if I was a programed killer I'd be ok with it. But I'm getting older and thinking about the world I leave behind.

Pretty funny. A 25 year old snot nose student comes onto a public forum promoting himself as a PH offering cull hunts for impala etc. Then posts on another thread insulting the very people that he is trying to advertise to and get money from.

Yes the hunt is still on offer, It will remain on offer until it has been proven illegal. According to our quota that we have it is still legal. So until further notice it will be on offer.
About it being baby Elephant I would like any outfitter from SA or Botswana give comment on what the size of a big Elephant bull will be in the Tuli Block.
