KZN Hunt-Great Chance for a Nyala at Reduced Price

I have had three hunters cancel their hunt for May 4-15, 2013. So I am now trying to fill this hunt. The deposits that they paid have enabled the outfitter to reduce trophy fees. There is a great opportunity to take a trophy nyala, bushbuck, and kudu.

The hunt will be conducted by Debula Yedwa Safaris and PH Herman DeWit. The hunt is conducted on the Goss Estates near the town of Pongola. This is really a beautiful 15,000 acre property with many hills and valleys. This is excellant nyala country and there are many to be hunted.

The property also contains excellent blue wildebeest, impala, warthog and zebra. I have seen some really magnificent kudu here, though they are not easy to hunt.

The daily fee is $350/day and is all inclusive expect strong alcohol and trophy fees. Airport pick up is included when you fly into the Durban King Shaka airport. 2x1 is $300/day.

Nyala - $1670
Kudu - $1190
Blue Wildebeest - $900
Impala - $240
warthog - $230
Red duiker - $1190
bushbuck - $720
Zebra - $1150

This is the mountain camp, which is about 6 km into the camp toward the top of the mountain and is very secluded. You can see the hills behind the buildings. What you are looking at here are the larger of the three buildings which has the "sitting room" and one of the bedrooms. The other is the kitchen and abolution block. Not shown is a suite where there is an attached bathroom. These are pretty nice but not luxery. There are hot showers which are very nice after a day of hunting.

No one has decided to take on this hunt, so I have made the decision to go myself, but I am still looking for others if they are interested. For a first timer this might be handy as I will travel with you, able to guide you through the maze of getting the firearms cleared, can arrange airline tickets and get you to the destination without undo issue.
