Who has booked for 2010?

I am thinking about Zimbabwe again in Chewore area or Mozambique buffalo and sitatunga hunt. Maybe somebody could give me an advice....:)

Well I am going to Europe hunting in September and am going to try and tie that in to a trip somewhere in southern Africa. At this point I do not know if I can swing it, but we shall see.

Sky,

Where are you heading to in Europe and what species are you planning on hunting?

I am booked with Lekota Safaris out of Tabazimbe for July 2010. I had to do the same as ndbwhnter and move my dates back till after the World Cup. The airfare dropped a bunch by doing this.

Well I'm all set arrive in South Africa on 20 May 2010 I have my hunt booked with www.huntershillsafaris.co.za starting 21 May and looking forward to the hunt.

For sitatunga I will rather opt for Zambia or Botswana. Maybe a bit more expensive, but the swamps in these areas are the place to be. The buffalo hunts in Mozambique and Zimbabwe is affordable. I guessit boils down to personal choice. Personally I will go to the country that is more stable and where I feel more safe.

Regards,

Stephan

Hallo Slovakianhunter,
WHY DONT YOU TRY TO HUNT BUFFALO IN SOUTH-AFRICA AT A MUCH AFFORDABLE PRICES?

Hi there, what is affordable price? All offers I have seen are up to 20,000 USD, that is not very affordable in my opinion but if you know about some better offers feel free to let me know :)

SlovakianHunter, If you're looking for an affordable buffalo hunt you should look at the "Discounted Hunts" page or maybe contact me... We have excellent offers in Mozambique and even if you wanted to hunt Cape Buff in SA you could definitely get away for less than $20K;)

Namibia hunt booked

I have booked w/ Vaughn Fulton, Classic Safaris, in Namibia for the last 2 weeks of May, 2010. Looking forward to it. Just have to work out some loads, practise with the sticks and then pack.

2010

We are going 3 weeks to RSA and 3 weeks to Nambia.

Six different outfitters, so will be quite a variety of hunts.

Taking 30-06 with 150 TSX and a 338 Win Mag with 210 TSX.

I am still looking for an elephant or lion hunt for $20k. I know it may be hard to find but that is what I have saved so that is what I have. i am hoping for Mozambique or Tanzania. Again, I might be dreaming but hopefully the downturn in the economy may get me a cancellation hunt.

I am hunting with Selwane for buffalo in Zimbabwe in april. I found this hunt through Stuart Pringle of Pringle's Legendary Safaris in RSA. I hunted with Stuart for plains game in 09 in the RSA. It was a great hunt but being from Canada, I was used to a little wilder setting. I told Stuart that it was always my dream to hunt Cape Buffalo, but I thought I would never be able to afford it. It turns out I was right, I can't afford it , but I'm going anyway. Stuart is coming with me as he also loves the wilderness hunting. I can't beleive how blessed I am to be going on this hunt. I will try to post on my return but I am not very savy with computers. Mike Egan

I'm off the 1st week of May to the East Cape.. taking a group of four 1st timers on their 1st jaunt over..
I am looking forward to seeing my buddies introduced to Africa for the very 1st time.. I plan on chasing a few of the Cape species such as Vaalies, Grysbok, etc. Going to be a fun, relaxing no pressure kind of hunt.

Off again to Zimbabwe the 1st week in October for buff, (hopefully non export ele again),spotted hyena and klipspringer. I cannot WAIT for this trip!

Cant you offer a cat hunt for abt usd 20.000 ?

"Rastaman" is still looking for lion or elephant hunting budget is usd 20.000

Lioness or male?
Dear Bushwack.
Sorry for not being clear, I was ref to conversation between RASTAMAN and NHENDA SAFARI.

I'm booked up with Uitspan Hunting in September for week-long plains game hunt in the Kalahari. This will be the first trip to Africa for both me and my dad who will be fulfilling a life-long dream. Can't wait.

The real goal is to get back within the next year or two to chase cape buff. I'm still trying to sort out the pros and cons of a "proper" Tanzania 2-buff wilderness hunt vs. a less expensive, but still probably very fun hunt in Zim or somewhere else. I might just keep my eyes open for a last minute opportunity. They seem to come up once in a while.
