Special offer! $4000 for Mid-Asian Ibex hunt and $18000 for Marco polo hunt in Kyrgyzstan!

I'd like some more info on availability this fall for ibex.
I hunted ibex in Kyrgyzstan in 2011 (shot 2) and am thinking about making another trip back to look for a 45"+ billy.

Feel free to PM me or post publicly.

Thank you!

Firstly thanks for your post Sir! I am already sure that you can shoot ibex 45 inches because last year the minimum size of shot ibex was 120 cm and biggest is 190 cm. If you will come back to Kyrgyzstan, i will try the best to have you 45 inches or more.
You can come together with Mr Dennis Harris on october 2013 if this date is available for you, Mr Dennis is going to hunt for marco polo and also ibex.
I will glad to see you both.

Thanks,

Thank you.. I am glad you came back and corrected that.. I was about to call complete BS when you were speaking of 190cm billies!
I would be looking for a 120cm for sure. My other 2 billies didn't quite make the bar (but were still a fantastic hunt).

Any other info to pass along to me about this hunt? Do you have anyone meet the hunters at Manas and have someone walk the hunters through the VIP coming AND going from the airport? Do you have your people with the hunters at all time whilst in Bishkek? What hotels are you putting your hunters in whilst in town? I ask this because the Hyatt was $350 per night while I was there and if you are to finish your hunt early and have to head back (happened to us), that can really add up the total cost on a hunt for some folks. I ended up leaving the Hyatt and moving over to the Dostuk to save some $$ after a few days, even though the Dostuk was a shit place to lay your head (pretty seedy place). I didn't like having my rifle and expensive optics in there, although all did turn out OK in the end.

Hello Mr Scotty. I always personally meet and see off hunters at airport Manas, i am very surprised when you ask about this. Yes, the Hyatt hotel is most expensive hotel in Kyrgyzstan, here the link that you can see the hotels Bishkek Hotels - Details and Online Booking , most of my hunters prefer Holiday Hotel (4 star hotel), the single room costs 140 USD and double 160 USD that you can trust your rifle and optic. If you will have a time after hunt i personally show the Bishkek city (supermarket, bazar, have lunch or dinner together). If you realy want to save some $$, you can spend day after hunt at my brothers house (enough place for two-three hunters) at countryside (distance from Bishkek 30 minutes) for free.

To be honest, i give guarantee between 115-120 cm.

Thanks,

Hello Mr Scotty,

I hope you are doing well. What have you decided about ibex hunt?

Thanks,

Well I still really cant believe it but I will be hunting with Kay and Dennis (The artistry of wildlife on here) this fall! Not only for Ibex as originally thought but for Argali as well!!! Fortunately Canada has no ridiculous ESA superceding CITES so no list to register on and no Canadian import permits to worry about since they are CITES II.

So much for my Cape Buff savings but being a die hard sheep guy I just cant let an offer like this pass me by. I am still floating a bit here in disbelief. Being a po country boy, I have always seen Marco Polo as way out of my reach. I am still trying to convince my brother to join us, this hunt would be cheaper than his failed Dall sheep hunt.

Thanks to Dennis for doing a lot of the legwork on this one, Im looking forward to hunting with you.

Derek, have a great hunt.
Love those sheep...

I am happy for all three of you and hope you have great success. Can't wait for the pics and hunting report. There are a few other hunts I would like to make first but a MP is definitely a hunt I would like to do. Loosing 30 lbs and spending 4-5 months getting into the shape I would have to be in isn't as pleasant a thought.

+1, a dream hunt for sure, some would same hunt of a lifetime. Believe me I have thought about it.

I know E, I saw your earlier post. With the increasing number of deals popping up Im sure your time will come soon. I will be certain to post a very detailed hunt report on Kays outfit for you and the other AHers when I get back.

I super glad for you, I'm glad you are taking advantage of the offer! I had the choice to go to medical school or this hunt...I chose medical school, in the long run it's a better choice,
