A custom rifle from Denmark

For a rifle that runs around 50K USD.

all I wanted to know about the accuracy was the 1/2 inch groups, is that for 10 - 25 - 50 - 75 or 100 meters.

Perhaps his website will clarify, but I would guess he means 100 yds or meters.

Awesome collectors piece a true work of art and great craftsmanship!!!! WOW!!!!!!

Once again truly awesome but in my profession it would be like buying a R1,2 million rand cruiser chopping the roof stripping the seats and start running up the Mountains with it...

Truly beautifull just not practical.

My best always.

Welcome to AH

While your rifle is top of the line, and few on here may be able to afford. The workmanship and woodwork are second to none that i have found. Your rifle is outstanding if i must say so.

The caliber selection in my opinion for your rifles is very limited.

Having read your web before plus having it bookmarked. I like looking at your rifle.

A few questions for you.

Accuracy, i have not found what your rifles performance will do.

It appears that many of your rifles are purchased by individuals who make them wall hangers.

I know, i would have a difficult time traveling with JRC rifle when they hit a certain bench mark.

Thanks for the kind words James.
Our finished rifles will not leave our facility unless they meet or exceed our expectations. For sub .30 caliber the limit for 3 shot groups is 0.5" at 100m, but it's usually around 0.25". For 30.+ caliber the limit is 1" but again it's usually less. This particular rifle will do 0.5" groups at 100m. Bear in mind that this is with factory ammunition, so expect them to be even more precise with home loaded ammunition.
Regarding our selection of calibers; we have everything from .222 all the way to .465 H&H Magnum so I'm sorry if you've been misinformed and I realize our website is partly to blame. That's something we're currently working on.
The vision was to build beautiful rifles that aesthetically belong on the wall, though fare even better in the wild. The only wall hung Jensen's that I'm aware of, is those at our dealerships. They all deserve to be used and enjoyed by their owners, so I hope it isn't the case.
I hope that answers your questions.

I've always coveted a well made mannlicher and this is one of the best I've "seen".

I love they way a full-wood feels in the hands and handles when in use.
It's hard to explain how well they point and swing when stocked correctly, and this one looks as though it is stocked correctly.

Great straight lines to the stock and well shaped through the main barrel channel.

From the pictures you have provided the quality of workmanship looks to be of a very high standard.

From a practicle hunting prespective I think I'd rather have me spare cartridges in an ammo holder rather than contained inside the stock, but that's my personal taste as oposed to any critisism of the build.

What length is the barrel ?

Congrats on what appears to be a very high standard of workmanship.

Paul.

Thanks Paul. The barrel is 20" on this one.

I agree. Gorgeous rifle! But I could just not pay that kind of money for a rifle and take it out and beat it up. But then again, the persons buying this kind of firearm does not care about $30,000.

Another question for you if ordering a rifle like this what is the normal turn around time one could expect?

sorry rick i dont agree with you, my 9.3 double is worth more than that and i have used it in pouring rain in hungary to dust and heat in zambia, and i do care about the amount it cost. i dont see the point of having something and not using it. its the same as saying just because you have a, for example lamborghini aventador and it cost so much that you are going to leave it in the garage and not use it . :)

Well said! I absolutely agree. There's nothing impractical about any expensive rifle or shotgun. If you buy it you should enjoy it.

Not my style, but a beautiful rifle none the less. Impressive!

That is a very nice looking rifle you guys have put together I bet who ever it goes to is going to enjoy it.

I 100% agree with this statement.

Beautifull rifle love the full stock.Unfortunately out of my league!

I absolutely love your work. I currently have a 6.5 x 54 Mannlicher Schoenauer and a Heym in .308 with full length stocks. The little Schoenauer shoots minute of deer and the Heym shoots a five shot clover leaf. Was the engraving on the floor plate your concept? I really like it - new and different. And brother Bateman is exactly right. Both my Evans Paradox and Sodia .375 have been to Africa with me (and the paradox several other places). Both are valued in that range and both cost quite a bit less than our Land Rover - and all are meant to be used hard in tough places.
