Thanks 35bore!

Almost every day I'm in the woods if not hunting, I'm feding wild boars, pick mushrooms or just watch with my camera and binoculars. Hunting here in our country and hunting in Africa is very different, well I think, how it is organized. In Slovenia, are hunting grounds in the management of hunting clubs. We called them "family". (Hunting family) We have annual plans exempts given to us by the State. For each club extra. We also have several public hunting areas, which are under the management of State foresters. In Slovenia, there is no privat hunting grounds. Every citizen who made hunting exam, can become a hunter and acquire firearms certificate. Of course must enroll in one of the hunting clubs. You can also be just, a member of the national hunting associations, but it is much more expensive and you do not have such conditions for hunting. Annual membership in the club is about 100 euros. Annual belongs to you shooting some trophy game and unlimited non trophy game, within the plan. Meat that you keep for yourself, you have to pay the market price. We also have hunting tourism. The link below is the price list. The state hunting areas is about 20% to 30% more expensive. (value added tax)

Janez, I love the look of that front scope ring. I have seen this many times in my hunting/gun books. I guess it is more common in your part of the world because you don't see it much here (hell I have never seen one here in the US), but, I think it adds to the overall look of the rifle. Very handsome looking rifle.
