Loodt,

A quality business starts with baby steps. Now that you have "stepped back" regrouped and are progressing forward, you will have a great success in the hunting industry.

The timing did not work out for us to enjoy the bush, camp fire, and hunting stories together, I am not done visiting Africa and as I plan future safaris "THOSE DARN SABLE'S" we will visit.

All the best with your future.

Will try and load the again folks, I have added 5 pictures. Each student on the course had the opportunity to shoot an animal to use for skinning purposes. Said that we must shoot Non Trophy Animals. However as my partner (Andrew) and I went on the stalk the owner of the land (Chappie Scott) was with us to oversee the hunt and give point for how he (Andrew) guided me etc. Chappie said we must rather leave this one as it was a monster of a Black Wildebeest, and we agreed. As we were about 300 + meters from the animal Chappie stopped us and asked me that if he gives me the opportunity to shoot the bull, would I mount it or not? My answer was an definite YES, and he then said well fire away! There I was, with my Black Wildebeest. Other students had to choose between, (Impala, Springbuck, Fallow Deer, Black Wildebeest and White Blesbuck)

The winning picture is the one which I took with my "PH" behind the trophy (Andrew).

The rest is of Scimitar Oryx, and beautiful landscape in which we had the course.

Enjoy the pictures!

Regards,

Nice Unicorn Oryx on the left.

Congrats on a good trophy. Well worth the time to mount.

………..

I am now busy acquiring my licence from the Department of Environmental Affairs and as soon as I have it, I will again keep all of you informed.
…………...

How goes the progress??

The Scimitar Oryx are one the most beautiful animal you will see in a heard.

How goes the progress??

Howdy Everyone!

Things are looking great, and I have recently obtained my Professional Hunting Permit from the Eastern Cape Department of Environmental Affairs.

With great excitement I can now also operate as a Professional Hunter within the Eastern Cape. My PH number for reference is PH 102/2014 EC. I am still awaiting my Outfitters Permit, but all are in the final stages of execution.

More exciting announcements to be made shortly.

Great job Loodt!!!!

Can't wait to see the Outfitter's license!

Congrats on acquiring your PH Permit Loodt. One more to go. Isn't paperwork fun! :(

Loodt

That new sig line of yours looks like one that Mark Sullivan might use!

You aren't going to entice an Eland into charging me, are you? :p

Congrats on the PH License!

Tim

Great job and looking forward to the rest coming in soon.

o_O dunno about paperwork being fun, but having papers is good! (y)

Tarbe, I am pretty sure a man by the name Winston Churchill used it somewhere once...

Thanks to all the kind words, will keep you'all posted.

It will be interesting to get an explanation about the following pics taken of Facebook. Clearly Tootabi clothing on a client but there is no Outfitters license.

All the promises made to the public about how everything will be rectified but back home a client is being hosted without a outfitter license.

That client might loose his trophies because it is a fraudulent business.

I think I see someone in the pic with an outfitter's license?

There you go again Tarbe - clouding the issues with the facts!!!! ;)

I see someone in the last picture with a new PH License. Who has the Outfitter's License?

Lets just say people should get facts straight before talking about hunts not being legal.Someone in the group has all the paper work needed to make the hunt totally legal.Pretty sure wearing someones name on a shirt is not againist the law even in south africa.Lets remember he is and has always plan on being a outfitter and may have just had some clothing made with the name on it.

Shame people only post on this thread but never anywhere else wonder why that is.

Ok Bill, you appear to be asserting that you know the answer to the question I asked.
Someone has an Outfitters Permit?
Loodt has not shared that he has acquired an Outfitters Permit! Perhaps he has.

This thread started with a concern about promoting hunts without proper permits.
(The OP has not commented again!) Apparently the concern is still there!

It is a small community.
