Looking for exceptional wildlife sculptures from Africa?
For those of you who collect wildlife sculptures of African Animals, or those who would like to own a piece or two, I would like to pass on to you an email I received this morning.
I've known Allen Hallett and his family for over 15 years, and his works and integrity are second to none. I encourage you to take a look at his website. You won't be disappointed.
Greetings
I have been out of the sculpture arena for the past few years whilst I was busy creating around 200 pewter designs. This now complete I am delighted to be back with my true passion of Wildlife sculpture in bronze. Techniques have improved and the foundry run by Bruce Knight that casts all my work is probably the best in the country.
There are several new pieces in the pipeline and some works still in the finishing process. I have attached a few images of the new work that is about to go onto my website Allen Hallett, Sculptor - Home Page
Talking about new sculptures I have also just completed an amazing piece of a life size leopard called ROCKFIG. This female is often spotted in the Timbavati Game Reserve. She is easily recognized by a notch in her left ear. In fact the area where she is seen is around Rockfig Lodge owned by Mr Bruce Jenkins of Pietermaritzburg. This sculpture is going to be given pride of place at the entrance to the lodge. We have also agareed to produce a limited edition of 100 maquettes that will be available in the next 2 weeks or so. This is a miniature sculpture of Rockfig and 20% of each sale will go into the Timbavati Conservation Trust. Once it is up and running I will forward some pictures to you.
I am currently working on a Secretary bird for Bird Life and look forward to showing you some pictures soon.
In the meantime take care and enjoy the Rugby.
Best wishes
ALLEN HALLETT
