It will not matter much out to 300 meters anyway.

If speed is important, you should have 26" barrels or longer for most "fast" cartridges.

I was thinking (like I need to stop doing that) that a handy little 375 with a 20" barrel and topped with something like one of those holo sights might be a really nice "truck gun" for those evening rides down the pasture.

I love the cartridge, there are 4 in the rack and 2 belong to my daughters so its kind of a family staple

    So, anyone have a thought?

Ditto the Alaskan. I love mine and am getting 2600 fps with 300 gr North Fork bullets in the 20" barrel.

The 375 H&H is a fantastic caliber, but, The 9.3's, and the 338wm all loaded with the proper bullets have produced very similar results, KE as the 375's... There is a diference, but not by much. Happy B-day 375H&H....

Though not on the same platform, but I am sure would be close would be the 35's.
